Art-Informed Therapy

Art is another path for self-expression, exploration and discovery. You do not need to be an artist to benefit from this type of therapy. Art is used as another method to express feelings and experiences that may be causing you pain or holding you back. It can also be used to cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, and reduce and resolve conflicts and distress. The goal of art therapy is to take advantage of the creative process and help people explore self-expression while finding new ways to gain personal insight and develop new coping skills.

What to expect: You and your counselor will meet on a regular schedule to dive into the difficulties that you are facing. Each meeting will be a safe space to say what you need to express, learn new ways of thinking and behaving, move you out of pain and into peace, and feel all the feels with a supportive witness and guide.

Take the first step for your well-being by contacting our Client Care Coordinator to set up your free, 15-minute consultation appointment with one of our compassionate, caring, experienced therapists.
